Data Deletion Request

1. Your Right to Deletion

You have the right to request the deletion of your Loyalteey account and all associated personal data at any time. We are committed to respecting your privacy and making this process as straightforward as possible.

2. How to Delete Your Account

2.1 Through the App

The fastest way to delete your account:

  • Open the Loyalteey app
  • Go to Profile tab
  • Scroll down to Account Settings
  • Tap Delete Account
  • Confirm with OTP verification

2.2 Via Email

If you cannot access the app, send an email to [email protected] with:

  • Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
  • The mobile number associated with your account
  • Your registered first and last name

We will verify your identity before processing the request. Email requests are processed within 7 business days.

3. What Gets Deleted

Upon account deletion, the following data is permanently removed within 30 days:

  • Your profile information (name, mobile number, date of birth, city)
  • Your handle/username
  • Your Loyalteey QR ID (immediately invalidated)
  • All per-store point balances
  • All VIP tier statuses
  • All pending and unclaimed rewards
  • Your notification preferences
  • Your device tokens and push notification registrations
  • KYC documents (if submitted)
  • Business profiles and configurations (if you are a business owner)
  • Staff account associations

4. What We Retain

Certain data may be retained after account deletion for legal and operational reasons:

  • Audit Logs: Records of state-changing actions are retained for 5 years for compliance and fraud prevention. These logs contain masked identifiers only.
  • Transaction Records: Anonymized point award and redemption records may be retained for up to 3 years for business reporting accuracy.
  • Payment Records: Subscription payment history is retained as required by Philippine tax and financial regulations.
  • Reviews: Your reviews are anonymized (author information removed) but the review content may remain visible. If you want reviews deleted, specify this in your request.

5. Business Owner Accounts

If you are a business owner, account deletion will also:

  • Cancel any active subscription (no refund for the remaining billing period)
  • Remove all staff account associations
  • Delete all business configurations (price brackets, rewards, bonus events)
  • Remove your business from the Discover map and marketplace
  • Anonymize your business in existing customer transaction histories

Important: Customers who earned points at your business will retain their point balances and any unclaimed rewards will be honored until their expiration date.

6. Confirmation

Once your account deletion is complete, we will send a final confirmation to your registered mobile number via SMS. After this point, your data cannot be recovered.
