Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Loyalteey platform — including the mobile application, web application at loyalteey.com, and all related services (collectively, the "Service") — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
Loyalteey reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes through the app or via push notification. Your continued use of the Service after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
2. Description of Service
Loyalteey is a universal loyalty platform that enables:
- Customers: To earn per-store loyalty points and redeem rewards at participating small businesses using a single Loyalteey QR ID.
- Business Owners: To create and manage digital loyalty programs, award points to customers, set up rewards, and engage customers through promo blasts and bonus events.
A single Loyalteey account can hold both a customer identity and one or more business identities. Users may switch between customer mode and business mode within the app.
3. Account Registration
3.1 Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create a Loyalteey account. By registering, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
3.2 Account Information
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration, including your mobile number, name, date of birth, and city. You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your account information.
3.3 Authentication
Account access is authenticated via one-time password (OTP) sent to your registered mobile number. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and mobile number. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
3.4 One Account Per Person
Each person may maintain only one Loyalteey account. Creating multiple accounts to abuse loyalty programs, earn duplicate points, or circumvent bans is strictly prohibited and will result in account termination.
4. Customer Terms
4.1 Loyalteey QR ID
Upon registration, you receive a unique Loyalteey QR ID. This QR code is your universal identifier across all participating Loyalteey businesses. You may also generate a physical Loyalteey ID card (PDF) from the app, limited to 3 regenerations per year with a 30-day cooldown. Upon regeneration, all previous QR codes are immediately invalidated.
4.2 Points
Points are earned when a participating business scans your Loyalteey QR and awards points based on your purchase. Key rules:
- Points are per-store — points earned at Business A can only be redeemed at Business A.
- Points are awarded at the sole discretion of the business owner based on their configured price brackets.
- Points have no cash value and cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged between stores or users.
- Loyalteey reserves the right to adjust point balances in cases of fraud or system error.
4.3 VIP Tiers
Your VIP tier (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond) at each business is determined by your visit count at that specific business. Tier thresholds and point multipliers are set by each business owner and may change. Tier status is per-store and does not transfer between businesses.
4.4 Rewards
Rewards are created and fulfilled by individual business owners, not by Loyalteey. Loyalteey is not responsible for the quality, availability, or fulfillment of any reward. Claimed rewards have an expiration period set by the business. Unclaimed rewards past their deadline are automatically expired.
4.5 Handle/Username
You may set an optional handle (username) that is displayed on reviews and leaderboards. Handles must be 3–20 characters, contain only letters, numbers, and underscores, and must not contain reserved words (e.g., "loyalteey," "admin," "support"). Handles that violate these rules or are offensive may be removed without notice.
4.6 Birthday
Your date of birth, once saved, is permanently locked and cannot be changed without an admin override request. This policy exists to prevent abuse of birthday bonus multipliers. Providing a false birthday is a violation of these Terms.
4.7 Reviews
You may leave reviews for businesses you have visited. Reviews must be honest, relevant, and not contain offensive, defamatory, or misleading content. Loyalteey reserves the right to remove reviews that violate these standards. Removed reviews are soft-deleted (hidden) and may be retained for moderation records.
5. Business Owner Terms
5.1 Business Registration
To register a business, you must provide accurate business information including name, address, category, and type. You represent that you are authorized to register and operate the business on the Loyalteey platform.
5.2 Business PIN
A 6-digit Business PIN is required to switch into business mode. You are solely responsible for keeping your Business PIN secure. Do not share your PIN with unauthorized individuals. The PIN is hashed before storage — Loyalteey cannot recover a lost PIN.
5.3 Subscription Plans
Loyalteey offers the following plans for business owners:
- Free: Basic loyalty features with limited brackets (3), customers (50), and 1 business/branch.
- Negosyo (₱299/mo): Expanded features including up to 8 brackets, unlimited customers, promo blasts, VIP tiers, and staff accounts.
- Negosyo Plus (₱599/mo): Full features including unlimited brackets, businesses, branches, advanced analytics, and 10 promo blasts per month.
Prices are subject to change. Annual billing is available with a 20% discount. All prices are in Philippine Pesos (PHP).
5.4 Payments and Billing
Subscription payments are processed by Stripe via Google Pay, Apple Pay, or card. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges. Failed payments trigger a 3-day grace period before service downgrade. You may cancel your subscription at any time — access continues until the end of the current billing period.
5.5 Promo Blasts
Promo blasts are push notifications sent to your customers. Monthly blast limits are determined by your subscription plan. Blasts must comply with applicable anti-spam laws. Sending misleading, deceptive, or offensive blasts will result in blast privileges being revoked.
5.6 Staff Accounts
Business owners on eligible plans may invite staff members with role-based access. You are responsible for the actions of staff members operating under your business account.
5.7 KYC Verification
Business owners may be required to complete Know Your Customer (KYC) verification by submitting government-issued ID, selfie, and business documents. KYC approval is at Loyalteey's sole discretion. Submitting fraudulent or falsified documents will result in immediate account termination.
5.8 Reward Fulfillment
Business owners are solely responsible for fulfilling rewards claimed by customers. Failure to honor valid reward claims may result in warnings, negative reviews, or account suspension.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Create fake accounts or multiple accounts to abuse loyalty programs
- Manipulate point balances, forge QR codes, or exploit system vulnerabilities
- Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to interact with the Service
- Share, sell, or transfer your Loyalteey QR, account credentials, or Business PIN
- Post false reviews, engage in review manipulation, or defame businesses or users
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks
- Circumvent security measures including screenshot protection and certificate pinning
- Impersonate another person or entity
7. Banning and Suspension
Business owners may ban customers from their individual store for legitimate reasons. Bans can be:
- Soft Ban: Customer is warned and may have restricted privileges at that specific store.
- Hard Ban: Customer is fully blocked from earning points or claiming rewards at that specific store.
Loyalteey may suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, engages in fraudulent activity, or abuses the platform. Suspension decisions by Loyalteey are final.
8. Intellectual Property
The Loyalteey name, logo, and all related branding are trademarks of Loyalteey. The Service, including its design, features, and content, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not use our trademarks or copy our Service without written permission.
By posting reviews or other content on Loyalteey, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and distribute that content within the Service.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Loyalteey does not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
- Any rewards offered by businesses will be fulfilled
- Point calculations or tier determinations will be error-free at all times
- The Service will meet your specific requirements
Loyalteey is a platform that connects customers with businesses. We are not a party to any transaction between customers and businesses and are not responsible for the quality of goods, services, or rewards provided by businesses.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Loyalteey shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of points, lost rewards, loss of business revenue, or loss of data, arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Loyalteey in the 12 months preceding the claim, or ₱5,000, whichever is less.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Loyalteey, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the Philippines.
13. Termination
You may delete your account at any time through the app or by contacting us. Upon deletion:
- All your point balances, tier statuses, and pending rewards are forfeited
- Your Loyalteey QR is permanently invalidated
- Personal data is removed within 30 days (except data required for legal compliance)
- Business subscriptions are canceled — no refunds for partial billing periods
Loyalteey may terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without notice.
